AUSTIN'S HOMEPAGE | HOMESCHOOL FIRST WEEK | MAKE MAGAZINE
Austin Horner's Home School Adventure BlogNEXT: May 1 - gymnastics and river aquatic life Saturday, April 28, 2013 We went to two museums! Austin saw a covered wagon and a model T at Lane Historical Society. At the U of O natural history museum, he climbed on a meteorite replica; got to handle animal skulls and bones; observed a man making very sharp flint tools with an antler; and watched Sioux Lakota ladies doing beadwork. They very kindly gave us beautiful strings of beads. Mom Celeste got some rock's ID'd and geologists told her she may have discovered a new crater in Oregon!
Austin practices reading phonetically Hapa - Hawaiian music duo that visited Eugene. We couldn't go, but we had a candle - wish we could go to Hawaii party and danced to this video and others!
